This home is really taking shape now, it's almost at the lockup stage. On a South facing slope, energy efficiency was going to be a challenge, but thanks to the client's vision and environmental ethos. The building has been tuned to make this a high-performing solar passive home, with oodles of North facing glazing soaking up the sun on the internal feature face brick walls, double glazing & high-performance insulation. Whilst still taking in the majestic views over the Helena River Catchment to the South. The initial design was prepared by Chantelle Beckett from The Paper Puzzle & Hills Building Consultants. Plot Design assisted with developing the final design & documentation.
